A little bit about yourself--where are you from? What do you like to do?
Proudly born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Running, organizing, and spending quality time with my children are the cornerstones of my life. I find great joy in hitting the pavement for the long run, bringing order to chaos through organization, and creating lasting memories with my husband and kids. Outside of school, I can either be found on the soccer field watching one of my sons play soccer, on the basketball court watching the other son, in the theatre watching my oldest son, or at a gymnastics competition for my daughter! Rock Hill's charm and warmth have shaped my values and outlook on life, instilling in me a deep appreciation for community and family. I'm always eager to tackle new challenges and opportunities that come my way, driven by a passion for personal growth and meaningful connections.

Favorite thing about teaching or working at Sullivan?
I began my teaching journey at Sullivan, and it remains my professional home to this day. The students I've had the privilege of teaching hold a special place in my heart. Witnessing their growth into successful young adults with thriving careers is incredibly rewarding. At Sullivan, I am fortunate to work alongside outstanding colleagues, but my direct collaborators—Coach Floyd, Coach Huechkter, and Coach Walker—have not only become cherished colleagues but also beloved family members. Together, we make each workday enjoyable and fulfilling!

What is your "genius" or "Superpower"?
My superpower lies in my innate ability to constantly think of others and discover ways to bring them joy. Whether it's through small acts of kindness, thoughtful gestures, or creating memorable experiences, I find immense fulfillment in brightening someone's day. From bringing someone their favorite candy, or buying their lunch. This superpower drives me to cultivate happiness in others' lives, fostering a sense of warmth and positivity wherever I go. It's not just about spreading joy; it's about making a genuine difference and leaving a lasting impact on the people I encounter.
